Biography Dr. Wu obtained his MD degree at China Medical University, Taiwan and earned the PhD degree of Boston University School of Medicine. Then, he completed an internship and a neurology residency program at the Boston University Medical Center. While trained by the late chairman of Department of Neurology of UCSD, Dr. Leon Thal, Dr. Wu completed a fellowship, held a position of clinical instructor and served as an attending physician at the San Diego VA Medical Center. In 2003, Dr. Wu moved to Brown University and accepted a position of assistant professor of neurology. Since August 2007, he joins the Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease Center (CNADC) of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. At Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Dr. Wu provides care for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and associated dementia disorders and is the principal investigator of several clinical trials of Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Wu is bilingual in Mandarin and English.
