Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine

The Ken and Ruth Davee Department of Neurology

Our division contributes to the subspecialty training of McGaw’s neurology residents. Additionally, the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center is a National Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence. The Center is nationally-recognized for their extensive educational programming for patients, families, healthcare providers, and the community at large.

The Movement Disorders Fellowship also is managed through the center. Northwestern University offers a one or two-year Fellowship in Movement Disorders. The two-year program affords fellows access to clinical experience, as well as the opportunity to receive training in clinical trials methodology through formal coursework. The fellowship is structured to assure that fellows will gain experience and training for a competitive research career. By conclusion of training the fellow is expected to submit a grant proposal. Find details on the program, admission requirements and instructions, and more on the Movement Disorders Fellowship page on the Northwestern University Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center site.
